About Us

The Addictions and Mental Health Services Division (AMH) recognizes the indisputable value of peer-delivered services (PDS) in transforming a behavioral health service delivery system that is based on recovery. AMH will work with consumers/survivors and stakeholders to develop strategies to increase the use and availability of peer-delivered services.

Peer Delivered Services (PDS) and Programs in Oregon

This peer network will work to influence health reform policy and maximize enrollment of peers in expanded insurance options and utilization by peers of new integrated healthcare programs. It will also increase the number of Peer Wellness Specialist (PWS) training programs and certified PWSs, and insure including those from diverse populations, in particular those with military experience and young adults.
