The successes of the residential addictions treatment services transition have been the result of the new partnerships created between residential addictions treatment providers and CCOs. It is recommended that CCOs and providers begin building relationships with mental health treatment providers early to ensure a smooth transition and reduce the possible impact on people who receive adult mental health residential services.

Capitation rate information

The OHA Actuarial Services Unit has developed a timeline for the setting of per capita costs and capitation rates.

  • April 11, 2014 – Draft rates posted; begin stakeholder discussion/comments
  • May 2, 2014 – Final stakeholder comments
  • May 9, 2014 – Final development
  • May 16, 2014 – CMS submission
