Oregon Stroke Care Committee to meet September 11

What: The third public meeting of the Oregon Stroke Care Committee. Agenda items include:

  • Review data in the 2014 Burden of Stroke Report.
  • Vote on stroke care database recommendation to the Oregon Health Authority; for example, the use of the American Heart Association’s Get With the Guidelines Stroke database.
  • Identify future agenda topics.

When: Thursday, September 11, 7-8:30 a.m.

Where: Portland State Office Building, Suite 1E, 800 NE Oregon Street, Portland

Who: The Oregon Stroke Care Committee was created by Senate Bill 375 to achieve continuous improvement in the quality of stroke care in Oregon. The committee is made of 10 members appointed by the director of the Oregon Health Authority.
