Steps to Enroll in the Oregon HCI Registry

1. Review the following important documents relating to health care interpreting:
• National Standards of Practice for Interpreters in Health Care
• National Code of Ethics for Interpreters in Health Care
• Health Care Interpreting Law ORS 413.550
• Oregon Administrative Rules OAR 333.002
  
  
2. Complete the Oregon Health Care Interpreter Registry Enrollment Application:
   
   
• Print and complete a paper copy of the Registry application.

• Online Registry Enrollment. Note: Payment for online Registry enrollment must be made with a credit card.
  Note: The online Registry Enrollment Application is temporarily unavailable. Please submit all HCI Registry applications by mail until further notice.
  
  
3. For paper applications, mail the completed Registry Enrollment Application along with a check or money order for $25 made payable to OHA/OEI to the following address:
