State of Equity Report - Resources
Introduction
The following resources contain reports, surveys, data and other research related to the status of disparities among people of color. They provide both local and national context for issues such as health care, standard of living, and education, as well as examining the demographics of these popuations.

2009 Oregon Physician Workforce Survey - Oregon Department of Human Services: This survey looks into the dynamics of capacity; demographics; practice characteristics; acceptance of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance; future practice plans; and attitudes toward specific health policy issues in the Oregon physician community.

Communities of Color in Multnomah County: An Unsettling Profile - Coalition of Communities of Color and Portland State University: This report documents the experiences of communities of color in Multnomah County, as well as community-specific reports on the African American, African immigrant and refugee, Asian/Pacific Islander, Latino, Native American and Slavic communities.

Oregon's Uninsured: Analysis of the 2008 American Community Survey - Oregon Health Authority, Office for Oregon Health Policy and Research: The ACS surveys three million U.S. addresses per year, including roughly 35,000 Oregonians. In 2008 the survey began providing health insurance coverage estimates for reliable, comparable statistics on health insurance coverage at the sub-state level.
