The SBHC State Program Office (SPO) recently awarded Advanced Phase planning grants to support SBHC planning efforts in two Oregon communitiies. Advanced Phase planning grants are awarded to communities that have already explored the SBHC model locally and are prepared to open a SBHC with the 2016-2017 school year. The Advanced Phase planning site must be state certified by June 30, 2017 for entry into the SBHC funding formula. Grants were awarded to the following communities
- Columbia County: Scappoose School District
- Jefferson County: Madras High School
There are currently no additional funding oppurtunites available form the SBHC SPO to support the planning of new SBHC's.
Resources for Planning New SBHCs

The SPO encourages communities to plan for a SBHC within their own timeline.
We encourage any community interested in developing and opening a SBHC to review the following documents:
The SPO will keep this page updated with additional planning resources as they become available. Check back for updates.
In addition to these resources, the SPO is also available to provide the following technical assistance:
SPO strongly encourages communities interested in applying for certification of a new SBHC to contact our office to take advantage of these resources. This information will help smooth your planning process and ensure your SBHC will be prepared to meet the SPO Standards for Certification.
