  • Nursing Home Administrators Must Uphold Standards of Professional Conduct

    As key aspect of a nursing home administrator's standards of professional conduct is protecting resident rights, including but not limited to protecting residents against abuse, neglect and other mistreatment.

    The Oregon Health Licensing Agency (OHLA) and Nursing Home Administrators Board oversee the licensing and regulation of nursing home administrators and work with other agencies to oversee the overall operations of nursing homes.

  • Licensees Required to Notify OHLA of Changes to Licensing Information within 30 Days

    Licensees must notify the Oregon Health Licensing Agency (OHLA) within 30 days of any changes to their licensing information, including but not limited to name and address changes, employment status and work location, telephone numbers, and closure or sale of a business facility or practice.The notification must be in writing and submitted within 30 calendar days. Click here for address or employment changes.

    For legal name changes, licensees must provide additional documentation and complete a Customer Information Update Form (see link below).
