Najaf Training Center

Najaf Training Center is an approximately 527-acre training area located about 10 miles north of Corvallis, in Benton County, Oregon.  Najaf Training Center is federal property managed by the Seattle District, US Army Corps of Engineers, and licensed to the OMD for military training.  A small portion of the site is also licensed by the Corp to the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST), another state agency.  Although Najaf Training Center is primarily a military maneuver training area, known-distance ranges and support structures, military training lanes, an equipment compound, confidence course, navigational courses, and a caretaker residence are located on the property. DPSST also maintains a small-arms firing range complex and support structures for police training on the site.  Najaf Training Center is closed to public use.
