    Workshop at McFarland CemeteryCommission Brown Bag Get Together in Phoenix
    The OCHC Commissioner Dirk Siedlecki will host a get together to meet other cemetery volunteers and workers and discuss the upcoming Memorial Day holiday. The meeting will be at the Jackson County Genealogical Library on May 8, 11:30am-2:30pm. Bring your lunch, coffee and dessert will be provided.

Commission releases paper on unstable markers
In response to several recent stories of injuries from unstable markers, the OCHC is releasing a new position paper. The purpose is twofold. The first is to remind visitors to use caution. The second is to offer suggestions to family members, cemetery caretakers and volunteers on how to address the problem.
