​Seeking new commissioner

The Oregon Commission on Historic Cemeteries is seeking a new member to fill an open position. The Commission is seeking a representative from the southern Willamette Valley, but anyone can submit a letter of interest. Next Commission Meeting in Newport.
Join the Commission in Newport on July 25 at the Hallmark Inn in Newport. The regular meeting of the Commission will be 9 am-noon. We will discuss position papers, cemtery issues and welcome a new commissioner. At 1pm we will join the Oregon Mortuary and Cemetery Board in a conversation about the future of cemeteries in Oregon. Contact Kuri Gill for more information. Kuri.Gill@oregon.gov or 503-986-0685.
