 Opportunity for Public Comment on Federally Funded Projects

The following cities or counties have received a grant for the projects listed through the federal Historic Preservation Fund, administered by the State Historic Preservation Office.
This page serves to make the public aware of the project and solicit comments pursuant to Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. The comment period is open for 30 days from the date listed for each project below. To provide comments or learn more information about the projects contact Jessica Gabriel, 503-986-0677.
The National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 authorizes a program of federal matching grants, known as the Historic Preservation Fund, to assist the various states in carrying our historic preservation activities. The Program is sponsored by the US Department of the Interior, National Park Service, and in Oregon, is administered through the Oregon State Historic Preservation Office.

 Brownsville, Linn County - Dated May 10, 2018

 1. Moyer House, 204 Main Street - $3,500 grant award

Install replica wall paper in the Ladies Parlor of the Moyer House.

 Jacksonville, Jackson County - Dated May 10, 2018

1. Jackson County Court House, 206 N 5th Street - $7,500 grant award

Install ADA ramp at the former Jackson County Court House.

 Baker City, Baker County - Dated May 10, 2018

1. City Hall, 1655 1st Street - $8,000 grant award

Remove two aluminum windows and replace with with double hung wood windows that reflect the original windows. 

 Benton County - Dated May 10, 2018

1. Independent School Building, 31615 Fern - $ 3,500

Replace a portion of the roof.
