Design Services


Our design team works with the engineering & planning teams and provides graphic, landscape, sign and trail design on multifacted projects.  The design team has been working on the following projects:

Overnight and Day Use Bike Pods:  At Champoeg, Milo McIver, the Hatfield Trailhead, and Bullard's Beach

Amphitheaters:  At South Beach and Wallowa Lake


Trailhead Design:  At the Manning Trailhead


Demonstration Gardens:  At Smith Rock


Alternative Camping Shelters:  At Champoeg and Silver Falls


Nature Play Areas:  In the Valleys Region

Visitor Experience Services

Welcome to our new department!  We have melded our Volunteer Services and Interpretive Services team to form the Visitor Experience Services section!

 

Visitor Experience Services coordinates and provides support for a broad range of programmed activities including interpretation, outdoor recreation, outdoor skills, volunteers, partners, park events, and environmental education programs designed to create memorable experiences for park visitors.

Jessie M. Honeyman Memorial State Park

 

Second public meeting for the Honeyman Trail Evaluation June 18

At this meeting Oregon State Park planners will share the findings of the trail evaluation and share options for improvements to the overall recreation value of trails at Honeyman State park. This will include looking at the U.S. 101 informal social trail crossing.
