Salem OR – The newly-formed Oregon State Fair Council will meet at the Oregon State Fairgrounds and Exposition Center in Salem on January 14 for its first business meeting.
The council members will tour the facility starting at 11 a.m., and convene their business meeting at 1 p.m. The agenda includes an overview of the transition process from a state agency to a public corporation, and an initial discussion about developing a business plan for the facility.

The council is charged with creating a new, sustainable business model for the Oregon State Fair and Exposition Center, and Council members will have the authority to execute a business strategy.
