How many state park day-use areas charge a parking fee?

What is the penalty for parking without a permit?
A visitor who parks in a state park day-use fee area without a 12- or 24-month permit, daily permit, or current state park camping receipt can be fined $77.

Is the state park day-use parking permit good at Sno-Parks?
No. Only Sno-Park permits are accepted in designated Oregon Sno-Parks. Sno-Park permits can be obtained from DMV offices and at agents in resorts, sporting goods stores, other retail outlets, and at many U.S. Forest Service ranger district offices.

Is the state park parking permit good in national forests?
Usually not, but there may be exceptions from time to time. Pacific northwest national forest trailheads and federal parks require special passes issued by the U.S. Forest Service or the National Park Service.
