Geology Fundamental Examination
(GF) To qualify for the Geology Fundamental exam, an applicant shall have (a) an undergraduate degree in geology, engineering geology, earth science or a related field or (b) otherwise have completed the required geology coursework. All applicants must have completed at least 45 quarter hours of geology coursework of which at least 36 quarter hours (80%) must be upper level coursework. Applicants shall submit a stamped and signed official transcript in the Registrar’s original sealed envelope for review by the Board.
