A fugitive wanted out of Montana who was injured January 3, 2014 during law enforcement response and subsequent standoff in Lincoln City was arrested Tuesday by Oregon State Police (OSP) after his release from a Portland-area hospital.
DALE EDWARD WALLACE, age 30, from Butte, Montana, was arrested by OSP on January 7, 2014, after he was released from Oregon Health & Science University. WALLACE was being treated at the hospital for serious injuries sustained when he was struck by an OSP marked patrol car as he pointed a firearm at officers after he fled a vehicle on foot.
WALLACE was lodged at the Multnomah County Justice Center as a Fugitive from Justice based upon an outstanding warrant out of Montana related to a robbery investigation.
