Since late in 2012, investigators have been collecting information on a criminal organization that has been forging checks from the Department of Human Services, McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center, the Klamath County Jail Inmate Trust Fund, and Masami Foods, Inc. Investigators believe there are many forged checks not yet recovered and it is likely there are forged checks from other businesses. The business community is encouraged to use caution when accepting checks and properly identify those individuals cashing checks.
Investigators are continuing to receive new information and anticipate making more arrests. Anyone with information related to this investigation or anyone that has been used by this group to cash checks is encouraged to contact investigators.
Two primary suspects believed to be leaders of this criminal organization sought by investigators are:
* Randall "Pony" Gallagher, age 43
* Anna Marie Rodriguez, age 46
Anyone with information regarding the location of these suspects is asked to call Klamath County Sheriff's Office (541-883-5130), Klamath Falls Police Department (541-883-5336), or OSP Southern Command Center dispatch (541-883-5711).
