Two people were arrested Tuesday night on multiple charges after attempting to elude Oregon State Police (OSP), La Grande Police Department and Union County Sheriff's Office along Interstate 84 in a stolen vehicle.
According to Sergeant Kyle Hove, on January 29, 2013 at approximately 9:51 p.m., a La Grande police officer attempted to stop a 2000 Cadillac STS on the Interstate 84 westbound off ramp near milepost 257 west of La Grande regarding a reported stolen vehicle.  The Cadillac, driven by NATASHA VOYLES, age 25 from La Grande, failed to yield and turned around traveling eastbound on Interstate 84 towards La Grande at speeds over 100 mph.
Two OSP troopers moved into position to assist La Grande police and took the lead as the vehicle continued attempting to elude OSP, La Grande Police Department and Union County Sheriff's Office. The Cadillac continued eastbound until exit 261 where OSP troopers used a tactical vehicle intervention technique. The vehicle spun around but continued without stopping and traveled into La Grande where it went through two intersections before losing control and stopping.
Two occupants fled on foot from the vehicle but were quickly taken into custody without further incident or any reported injury.
Driver VOYLES was lodged in the Union County Jail on the following charges:
* Felony Attempt to Elude in a Vehicle
* Unauthorized use of a Motor Vehicle
* Reckless Driving
* Reckless Endangering Another Person
She was also cited for No Operators License.
Passenger JUSTIN HENSLEY, age 25, from La Grande, was also taken to the jail but later cited and released to appear in court for Misdemeanor Attempt to Elude on Foot.
