Recent investigations by the Rogue Area Drug Enforcement (RADE) team in Josephine County led to the arrests of several people on heroin and marijuana related charges.

On March 5, 2013, RADE detectives and team members, assisted by patrol and criminal division members from OSP along with officers from the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety, arrested two people attempting to purchase a large amount of marijuana for the purpose of re-sale near Grants Pass.  DAVID WAYNE KRAUSS, age 42, and JAMIE CHRISTINA STAHL, age 24, were both arrested for Money Laundering and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance - Marijuana.

On March 13, the RADE team and Grants Pass Department of Public Safety executed a search warrant at a residence in the 1900 block of SE Portola Drive in Grants Pass that resulted in the arrest of five people.
