Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers are continuing the investigation and attempting to locate an involved hit-and-run vehicle and driver following Saturday afternoon's injury crash at the intersection of SE 82nd Avenue and SE Causey Avenue south of Portland. The involved vehicle is believed to have been abandoned somewhere in the Clackamas area. OSP is asking for the public's help to locate the vehicle and driver.
On March 16, 2013 at approximately 1:02 p.m., a silver 1999 BMW 528i driven by a male suspect was attempting to left onto SE 82nd Avenue from a Goodwill store parking lot when it collided with passenger car. After impact, the BMW car drove away from the scene southbound on SE 82nd Avenue. The other involved passenger car's driver, JENNIFER R. CRENSHAW, age 27, from SE Portland, was not injured. Her 5-year old daughter, name not released, was transported by ambulance to Portland Adventist Hospital with minor injury. They were using safety restraints and a child safety seat.
