Former Merrill City Recorder Arraigned Tuesday Following OSP Investigation

An investigation led by by Oregon State Police (OSP) Criminal Investigation Division (CID) detectives resulted in a Klamath Falls woman being arraigned Tuesday in relation to the alleged theft of approximately $75,000 while she worked as the City Recorder for the city of Merrill.
On March 19, 2013, a secret indictment warrant was issued for DEBORAH SUE FULLER, age 48, of Klamath Falls, for which she was arrainged in Klamath County Circuit Court on the following charges:
* Four (4) counts of Aggravated Theft
* Eight (8) counts of Theft in the First Degree
* One (1) count of Official Misconduct in the First Degree
FULLER was an employee for the city of Merrill when the investigation began in the summer of 2012. Questions regarding this case should be directed to the Klamath County District Attorney's Office.
The City of Merrill will be releasing a statement Wednesday morning regarding this matter.
