Oregon State Police (OSP) and Clackamas County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) are searching Wednesday afternoon for the unidentified operator of a stolen motorcycle that crashed into the back of a stopped sport utility vehicle at the end of the Interstate 205 southbound off ramp at Johnson Creek Boulevard. After being ejected from the motorcycle, the injured man fled on foot from the scene toward SE 82nd Avenue.

On March 27, 2013 at approximately 2:45 p.m., a 1988 Kawasaki motorcycle operated by an adult male was traveling recklessly southbound on Interstate 205 when it exited the freeway at Johnson Creek Boulevard and crashed into the back of a stopped 2007 Mercedes sport utility vehicle, shattering the rear window. Upon impact, the motorcycle operator was ejected over the front of the motorcycle and landed on the pavement causing injuries that included facial injury and bleeding.

The unidentified white male in his mid-20's got off the ground and fled west from the scene. He had obvious injuries and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a gray colored shirt or sweatshirt. The motorcycle was reported stolen out of The Dalles.

The Mercedes' operator, JOLENE THOMPSON, age 48, from Clackamas, and the 22-year old female passenger were not injured.

Officers from OSP and CCSO are conducting an area search for the suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1 or OSP Northern Command Center dispatch at (503) 731-3030.
