Lieutenant Gregg Hastings
Public Information Officer
OSP identified the suspect as ANDREW JOSEPH PULVER, age 29. PULVER is described as a white male, 5'7", 145 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He has ties in Clackamas, Multnomah and Wasoc County areas and witnesses. Witnesses said he was bleeding badly and in needed medical attention. A photograph taken last month at the Northern Oregon Regional Correctional Facility (NORCOR) is provided with this release.
On March 27, 2013 at approximately 2:45 p.m., a stolen motorcycle operated by PULVER was traveling recklessly southbound on Interstate 205 when it exited the freeway at Johnson Creek Boulevard and crashed into the back of a stopped 2007 Mercedes sport utility vehicle. Upon impact, the motorcycle operator was ejected over the front of the motorcycle into the vehicle's rear window before landing on the pavement.
The man, later identified as PULVER, got off the ground and fled west on foot from the scene toward SE 82nd Avenue. He had obvious injuries and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a gray colored shirt or sweatshirt. The motorcycle was reported stolen out of The Dalles.
The Mercedes' operator, JOLENE THOMPSON, age 48, from Clackamas, and the 22-year old female passenger were not injured.
Anyone with information regarding PULVER's location is asked to call OSP Northern Command Center dispatch at (503) 731-3030 or 9-1-1.
