OSP Seeking 2 Suspects Following Crash of Stolen Vehicle on Highway 30 near Clatskanie

Oregon State Police (OSP) is asking for the public's help to find two unidentified suspects following Tuesday morning's crash of a stolen vehicle along Highway 30 near Clatskanie.
On April 2, 2013 at approximately 9:45 a.m., OSP and area law enforcement agencies responded to the scene of a single vehicle traffic crash on Highway 30 near milepost 65 in Columbia County. A 1995 Kia Sephia passenger car displaying Washington license plates traveled off the highway and was abandoned by two unidentified people. Responding officers determined the car was stolen overnight from a Kelso, Washington residence.
The two suspects were described as a white male and female in their 30's to 40's. The male is over 6 feet tall with short, dark hair and was wearing a dark jacket. The female has a slim build, long brown hair, and was wearing jeans and carrying a pink backpack.
Officers from OSP, Columbia County Sheriff's Office, Clatsop County Sheriff's Office, Clatskanie Police Department and a K-9 from Cowlitz County Sheriff's Office searched the area but didn't find the suspects. It is unknown if a passing motorists picked them up in the area.
