Oregon State Police (OSP) and Keizer Police Department joins family members of a missing Keizer man in asking for the public’s help to find him after he was last seen Saturday evening and his vehicle found unoccupied at the Santiam Rest Area along Interstate 5 south of Salem. There is no evidence at this time indicating he was the victim of a crime.
ROBERT ALLEN KNUPP, age 53, is described as a white male, 5’11”, 215 pounds, with brown salt & pepper hair and a short beard. He was last known to be wearing a blue print Hawaiian-style shirt with khaki pants, white socks and brown leather tie shoes. He was driving a 1993 Geo Metro passenger car found locked Sunday about midnight at the rest area. Earlier Saturday afternoon, he drove his brother to an Albany-area restaurant where he dropped his brother off.
On June 8, 2014, OSP began an investigation and have taken a missing person report regarding KNUPP. His family indicates his behavior is out of character and that he recently began taking newly prescribed medications.
Anyone with information regarding KNUPP’s whereabouts is asked to call OSP Northern Command Center dispatch at 800-452-7888.

Lead investigator is Senior Trooper Frank Hagen.
