Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers arrested an adult male Thursday afternoon on Menacing and Disorderly Conduct charges following multiple reports of a person pointing a firearm at passing motorists on the exit ramp to Mission Street from Interstate 5 in Salem.

On June 27, 2013 at approximately 3:45 p.m., OSP troopers responded to a report of a man pointing a firearm at passing motorists on the Mission Street exit ramp southbound off Interstate 5. Troopers quickly spotted a man matching the description holding a dark object in his hand and detained him at gunpoint. Troopers found an object in a holster on the man's belt that was determined to be homemade to look like a handgun. It was seized as evidence.

NOE GONZALEZ, age 52, was taken into custody and lodged in the Marion County Jail for Menacing and Disorderly Conduct.
