Oregon State Police (OSP) is asking for the public's help to find the suspect who robbed a Cave Junction Sterling Bank branch in Josephine County Friday afternoon and left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
On September 13, 2013 at approximately 4:15 p.m., an unidentified adult male came into the Sterling Bank branch located at 101 N. Redwood Highway in Cave Junction. The suspect presented a note to a teller and displayed a firearm before leaving on foot in an unknown direction from the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. There is no information to indicate the suspect left the area in a vehicle.
An OSP trooper responded to the bank to obtain initial information. The suspect is described as a white adult male, 6' 175 lbs, black hair, wearing sunglasses, red & brown or gray plaid long sleet shirt, blue jeans, tan colored hiking-style boots. His face may have acne pock marks.
