The following is a news release from Oregon Department of Corrections
An inmate died unexpectedly Saturday at Two Rivers Correctional Institution. As with all unanticipated deaths in state prisons, the Oregon State Police Criminal Investigation Division was contacted and is conducting an investigation.
The death occurred September 29, 2012 at approximately 10:00 p.m. in the general population housing unit.
Next of kin were notified. More details will be released when the investigation is completed.
