Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers are continuing the investigation into the cause of Thursday morning's fatal traffic crash involving a commercial truck along Highway 101 near Seal Rock that resulted in the death of a 28-year old truck driver from Orofino, Idaho. The driver's name is released in this update.
According to Sergeant Cari Boyd, on October 4, 2012 at approximately 11:18 a.m., a 2008 Kenworth truck driven by DREW ELLIOT, age 28, from Orofino, Idaho, was southbound on Highway 101 near milepost 152 at approximately 30 mph.
