OSP Seeking Tips in Theft of Metal Falling Rock Protection Screens From Highway 224 Location East of Estacada

Oregon State Police (OSP) and Oregon Department of Transportation is aski ng for the public's help to identify the person(s) responsible for the theft of approximately 20 sections of metal fencing used to keep falling rocks from landing on the highway east of Estacada.

On October 28, 2013, the ODOT Estacada office reported the metal rock screen fencing was taken from a site along Highway 224 about eight miles east of Estacada near milepost 36. ODOT believes the theft occurred sometime between October 14 and 24. Each screen is 12 Â1/2 feet long and 45 inches tall, made of two inch square metal framing and chain link fencing.
