Oregon State Police (OSP) Major Crimes Section detectives, with the assistance of the Josephine County District Attorney's Office, is continuing the investigation into a Saturday night shooting that left one person wounded in southern Josephine County.
On November 9, 2013 at approximately 10:44 p.m., OSP detectives responded to Three Rivers Community Hospital in Grants Pass regarding a report that an adult male was being treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound. ROBERT LONGORIA, age 38, from Selma, was taken to the hospital after being shot once in the torso during a disturbance at an outdoor party at his residence.
OSP detectives identified a 41-year old male as the person who fired the shot that wounded LONGORIA. He is cooperating with the investigation and has not been arrested.
No other information being released at this time.
