OSP Fish & Wildlife Division Asking Public's Help in South Eugene-area Deer Poaching Case; Reward Offered

Oregon State Police Fish & Wildlife Division is asking for the public's help to identify the suspects involved in a recent killing of a large black-tailed buck deer found shot and left to waste in a residential area in South Eugene.

In the early hours of November 15, 2013, residents in the area awoke to shots fired and observed the suspects spotlighting a large black-tailed buck deer. The buck died and was left to waste in a field along Hawkins Lane in South Eugene.

A reward of up to $250 is being offered through the Oregon Hunters Association for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case.
