Two women were arrested early Tuesday morning by Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers, with the assistance of Marion County deputies, after they attempted to elude officers in a vehicle and were involved in a non-injury traffic crash in the northeast Salem area.

On November 27, 2012 at approximately 12:15 a.m., an OSP trooper attempted to stop a 2001 Chrysler passenger car for a traffic violation on Portland Road near Interstate 5.
