Oregon State Police (OSP) and Josephine County Sheriff's Office (JCSO) report that a 66-year old woman reported missing by her husband from their residence early Sunday morning between Merlin and Grants Pass was found safe.

On December 8, 2013 at approximately 12:51 a.m., the woman's husband contacted 9-1-1 reporting her missing from their residence in the 2800 block of Azalea Drive. She reportedly got up shortly after midnight to go to the bathroom and didn't return to bed. He believed she went outside where temperatures are in the single digits.

OSP and Josephine County Search & Rescue personnel were activated to look for the woman. She was found later that morning safe and not injured.
