OSP Traffic Stop Leads to Charges for 3 Washington Residents Following Seizure of 16 lbs of Marijuana - Interstate 5 south of Roseburg

Three Washington State residents are facing charges in Douglas County, Oregon following a Sunday night traffic stop on Interstate 5 about nine miles south of Roseburg that resulted in an Oregon State Police (OSP) trooper seizing approximately 16 pounds of marijuana. OSP was assisted during the stop by Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
 
On December 9, 2012 at approximately 10:00 p.m., an OSP trooper stopped a 2005 Chevrolet Impala displaying Washington license plates for a traffic violation northbound on Interstate 5 near milepost 116. The vehicle's three occupants were identified as BELINDA OROZCO, age 27, from Montesano, Washington, and RANDOLPH BROWN, age 23, and ANTWOIN BROWN, age 22, both from Everett, Washington.
 
Subsequent investigation led the trooper to discover and seize approximately 16 pounds of marijuana in the vehicle. Estimated value of the seized marijuana is $30,000.
 
All three individuals were cited and released to appear in Douglas County Circuit Court for Unlawful Possession and Distribution of Marijuana.
