Oregon State Police troopers arrested 18 DUII drivers statewide on the day of the BCS National Championship game during a fifteen hour period from noon, January 10, through 3:00 a.m., January 11. Of those 18 arrests, nine were made by troopers from the Springfield Area Command office.
In comparison, during the 24 hour period for Monday, January 3, troopers arrested four DUII drivers statewide.
