An Oregon State Police (OSP) traffic stop in the Lakeview area led the trooper to three different locations, the arrest of three people and the seizure of over 4 pounds of marijuana and approximately $5,200 cash.
On February 3, 2008, OSP Trooper Cliff Hargis made a traffic stop on Highway 140W near milepost 95. Information obtained during the stop led Trooper Hargis to an address in the 400 block of S.E. Street in Lakeview where he contacted DONNY WILSON, age 37. During that contact, Trooper Hargis arrested WILSON for Unlawful Possession and Manufacture of a Controlled Substance - Marijuana, and Child Endangerment. Approximately 3.5 ounces of marijuana was seized at that location.
Subsequent to that contact and follow-up investigation, Trooper Hargis went to Hunters RV Park on Highway 395 near milepost 141 and contacted LAUREN BOE, age 54. This contact led to the arrest of BOE on a marijuana-related charge. With the assistance of Lake County District Attorney David Schutt, a search warrant was obtained that led to the seizure of nearly 4 pounds of marijuana and approximately $5,200 cash. BOE was arrested for Unlawful Possession and Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance – Marijuana and lodged in Lake County Jail.

Additional follow-up investigation led Trooper Hargis on February 5th to a residence in the 700 block of South 9th in Lakeview where contact was made with SCOTT PERRY, age 48. Over 7 ounces of marijuana was found at this location by Trooper Hargis. PERRY was arrested for Unlawful Possession and Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance - Marijuana.
Assistance during these cases was provided by the Lake County District Attorney, Lake County Sheriff's Office, and Lakeview Police Department.
