Oregon State Police arrested a Prineville man Friday who reportedly has been involved with numerous youth sports programs and the Crook County Chapter of the Boys & Girls Club of Central Oregon on 164 counts of sex offenses that allegedly occurred involving a single victim over an approximate ten year period. The suspect is being held in Crook County Jail with bail set at $6.85 million, and all questions regarding this investigation should be directed to the Crook County District Attorney's Office as noted below.

On February 8, 2008 at 3:30 p.m. Oregon State Police arrested BRAD WILLIAM HILL, age 48, at the Prineville office and lodged him in the Crook County Jail on the following charges:
  • 84 counts of Sex Abuse in the First Degree
  • 20 counts of Rape in the First Degree
  • 30 counts of Sodomy in the First Degree
  • 30 counts of Sex Abuse in the Second Degree

The investigation started January 25th when the female victim came forward with allegations she was being sexually abused by HILL since the 3rd grade and it continued into her high school years. The victim, who is 19 years old, now resides in Grant County.

Oregon State Police Detective Andrew McCool believes there may be other victims who have not contacted police. HILL reportedly has been active with the Boys & Girls Club of Central Oregon, has coached several local youth athletic teams, and resided in over areas of the state as noted above.

Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact Detective McCool at (541) 388-6213 ext. 207. Detective McCool will not be answering any media questions regarding the investigation.

All media inquiries should be directed Monday to Deputy District Attorney Daina Vitolins, Crook County District Attorney's Office, at (541) 447-4158.
