Media Advisory - New Website Resource Information: "OSP - Who We Are and What We Do"
02/18/2009
Lieutenant Gregg Hastings
Public Information Officer
Office: (503) 731-3020 ext. 247

Much more than a highway patrol, the Oregon State Police is a full-service public safety agency providing a diverse range of services to our citizens and public safety partners.

To help reporters and the public better understand the broad range of services we provide, our Department has placed several one-page briefs on our website. Each brief gives a quick glimpse of who we are and what we do:
  • Agency Overview
  • Budget Charts
  • Criminal Investigations Division
  • Law Enforcement Data Systems
  • OSP Command Center Dispatch
  • Fish & Wildlife Division
  • Forensic Services Division
  • Medical Examiner
  • Patrol Services Division
  • Training and Recruiting Section
  • Office of State Fire Marshal
  • Gaming Enforcement Division

"OSP – Who We Are and What We Do" is available on the Oregon State Police website through links on our homepage www.oregon.gov/OSP in the "Spotlight" section and right side navigation bar, or directly at http://www.oregon.gov/OSP/briefs.shtml.
