| OSP Traffic Stop Leads to 2 lbs. of Marijuana, One Arrest - Highway 395 near Lakeview |

An Oregon State Police (OSP) traffic stop in the Lakeview area on Tuesday afternoon led to the arrest of a California man following the discovery of over 2 pounds of marijuana in the pickup he was driving.
According to OSP Sergeant Steve Yates, on February 17, 2009 at approximately 1:20 p.m., an OSP trooper stopped a 2008 GMC pickup occupied by one individual on Highway 395 near milepost 132 for a speed-related traffic violation. Subsequent to the traffic stop, investigative efforts led to the discovery of over 2 pounds of marijuana with an estimated value of approximately $5,000.
The pickup's driver, ORVILLE ALAN CLABORN, age 65, from Hayfork, California, was arrested and lodged in the Lake County Jail for Unlawful Possession and Distribution of a Controlled Substance - Marijuana.
