LINT Investigation Leads to Marijuana Grow and One Arrest

An investigation by the Lincoln Interagency Narcotics Team (LINT) led to the arrest of one person following the discovery of an indoor marijuana growing operation last week near Lincoln City and the seizure of 70 marijuana plants.
On February 25, 2009, LINT investigators along with members of the Oregon State Police and the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office served a search warrant at 1112 Siletz Highway near Lincoln City. Officers discovered and seized a marijuana growing operation with 70 growing marijuana plants in various stages along with related grow equipment.
ROBERT ERIC DURAN, age 50, from Lincoln City, was arrested and lodged in the Lincoln County Jail for Unlawful Manufacture and Delivery of Marijuana. DURAN, who is an Oregon Medical Marijuana Patient and grower, was alleged to be in violation of selling marijuana for compensation which is a violation of the Oregon Medical Marijuana Provision.

LINT is comprised of members of the Oregon State Police, Lincoln County Sheriff, Lincoln City Police, Newport Police Department and the Lincoln County District Attorney's Office.
