Oregon State Police (OSP) detectives and troopers are continuing the investigation into the death of a 42-year old Creswell woman early Sunday morning along Highway 99 about one mile south of Goshen. Names are being released and OSP is seeking any other information to help complete this investigation.
On March 6, 2011 at approximately 2:22 a.m. a 9-1-1 call was received from the woman's husband, LLOYD SHREEVE JR., age 51, reporting his wife died and her body was on the shoulder of Highway 99 near milepost 1. OSP troopers, Lane County Sheriff's Office, and Goshen Fire Department responded and found BRENDA SUE SHREEVE, age 42, deceased at that location.
Mr. SHREEVE told OSP his wife's death was accidental as she fell onto the highway out of the passenger side door of their gray 2004 Ford F150 pickup as he drove on Highway 99.
OSP Detective Dusty Sprague is continuing the investigation with the assistance of the Lane County District Attorney's Office. Anyone who may have seen BRENDA SUE SHREEVE Saturday night or early Sunday morning prior to the time of the 9-1-1 report is asked to call Detective Sprague at (541) 726-2536 ext. 243.
A 2006 DMV photograph of BRENDA SUE SHREEVE is provided with this release.
