LINT Investigation Leads to Indoor Marijuana Grow and One Arrest

A Lincoln Interagency Narcotics Team (LINT) investigation covering several months resulted in the arrest Wednesday of a Lincoln City man on charges related to an indoor marijuana growing operation.
On March 17, 2009 at 1:15 p.m. the LINT team and officers from Lincoln City Police Department served a narcotics-related search warrant at 1807 NW 39th Street in Lincoln City. Detectives located inside the residence over 30 growing marijuana plants, along with indoor growing equipment and other narcotics-related evidence.
Subsequent to the investigation, the homeowner identified as KEVIN DEAN KEISER, age 52, was arrested and lodged at the Lincoln County Jail for:
  • Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substances: Marijuana
  • Unlawful Delivery of Controlled Substances: Marijuana
  • Unlawful Manufacture of Controlled Substances: Marijuana
  • Maintaining a Place Where Narcotics are Kept/Sold
The LINT team is comprised of members from the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, Lincoln City Police Department, Newport Police Department, Oregon State Police and the Lincoln County District Attorney's Office.
