Following a four month investigation, Oregon State Police (OSP) Major Crimes Section detectives arrested a Coffee Creek Correctional Facility employee Wednesday afternoon on official misconduct and custodial sexual misconduct charges. No other details will be released at this time because the investigation is continuing.

On March 21, 2012 OSP detectives arrested JEREMY JOSEPH VEELLE, age 35, from Mulino, for Official Misconduct in the First Degree and Custodial Sexual Misconduct in the Second Degree. VEELLE worked in the physical plant at the Coffee Creek Correctional Facility. The victim is an inmate at that correctional facility.

VEELLE, who has been a Department of Corrections employee since 1994, was lodged by OSP detectives at the Washington County Jail.
