| Update: Victims Identified in Quituple Fatal Traffic Crash - Highway 221 at Wheatland Road |

Following overnight notification to families of those involved in the single-vehicle, quintuple-fatal crash Tuesday, March 25, 2008 on Highway 221 at Wheatland Road, the Oregon State Police is releasing information on the seven occupants.
The following five people were declared deceased at the scene:
Driver LENA BUCHHOLZ, age 20 from McMinnville, using a safety restraints
Front middle passenger, WENDY MEDINA GEORGE, age 27, from McMinnville, not using safety restraints
Rear center passenger, SORAYA MEDINA-GEORGE, age 7, from McMinnville, not using safety restraints
Rear left passenger, SAIRA MEDINA GEORGE, age 5, from McMinnville, not using safety restraints
Rear right passenger, RICHARD RAMOS, age 7, from Salem, son of Ricardo Ramos Zolario, not using safety restraints
The following two people survived with serious injuries:
Front right passenger, RICARDO RAMOS ZOLARIO, age 33, from Salem, not using safety restraints
Rear right passenger in child safety seat but not properly restrained, SABIAN MARTINEZ, age 2, son of Lena Buchholz
No other information released on this ongoing investigation.
