Update: Statement from Thomas Mossman's Family - Fatal Highway 211 Hit & Run Investigation

The following statement is being released from Marcy Parfitt, daughter of Thomas Mossman who died Thursday morning, March 31, from injuries sustained after being struck March 22, 2011 by a hit-and-run driver on Highway 211 west of Molalla:
"My family & I have been devastated today because my father died from severe injuries caused by a hit & run driver. We are extremely grateful to the staff at OHSU for doing everything possible. We ask the public to please help the police find the person responsible for running him down with their vehicle and killing him."
The following description of the involved vehicle has previously been released:
Evidence at the scene indicates the vehicle of interest is a silver-gray mid-90's Dodge Caravan. The vehicle should have right front headlight damage, is missing the passenger side mirror, and may have missing right side door molding. After striking the bicyclist, the vehicle reportedly continued driving westbound.
