Traffic delays continue Wednesday afternoon on Highway 126W about three miles east of Walton after a late morning non-injury crash involving a truck transporting a 177-foot concrete bridge support ran into a ditch.

On April 7, 2010 at approximately 10:45 a.m. a Knife River, Inc. truck transporting a 177-foot concrete bridge support was westbound when it traveled into a ditch on Highway 126W near milepost 36. The truck overturned and the beam broke. The driver, whose name is not available for this release, was not injured and no other vehicles were involved.

The westbound lane of Highway 126W was completely blocked and traffic routed into the partially blocked east bound lane. Personnel from ODOT and Knife River, Inc. worked together to remove the truck and the beam.  No citations issued.
