Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers are continuing the investigation into a Wednesday night single vehicle fatal traffic crash that killed a 22-year old Sandy-area woman along Highway 26 about five miles north of Madras.
According to OSP Sergeant Paul Collinsworth, on April 8, 2009, at about 11:40 p.m. a 1988 Toyota Camry driven by JOSEPH ALAN ROZELL, age 20, from Eagle Creek, was northbound on Highway 26 near milepost 112 attempting to pass two vehicles when it lost control. The car drove off the west side of the highway and overturned, coming to rest on its top approximately 20 feet from the highway.

Traffic on the highway was reduced to one lane by ODOT for approximately 3 hours.
