The Salem Police Department and Oregon State Police are seeking assistance from the public in identifying suspects in multiple graffiti incidents that occurred throughout downtown Salem and at the State Capitol early in the morning on April 18, 2011.

The incidents occurred between 3:30 a.m. and 4:15 a.m. beginning at the Oregon State Capitol. The three pictured suspects moved west on Court St NE from the Capitol grounds vandalizing businesses along the north side of Court St, then proceeded south on Liberty St, applying graffiti to businesses along the west side of the street.

There are currently fourteen known incidents with a damage estimate well over $1,000.00 that the Salem Police Department and Oregon State Police are investigating in a cooperative effort, and we are requesting assistance from the public in identifying these suspects.

Anyone with information about these incidents and/or the suspects is asked to contact Salem Police Officer Steve Chancellor at (503) 588-6242.
