An Emmett, Idaho man is facing felony marijuana-related charges after a Tuesday night traffic stop by an Oregon State Police (OSP) trooper west of Burns, Oregon led to the discovery of over 3 pounds of marijuana inside the rented car. The OSP Drug Enforcement Section is continuing the investigation.

On June 5, 2012 at approximately 10:43 p.m. an OSP trooper stopped a rented 2011 Chevrolet Impala displaying Idaho license plates eastbound on Highway 20 near milepost 114 for traveling 91 mph in a 55 mph speed zone. The lone occupant in the car was identified as KADEEM ANDREW EARL WILLIAMS, age 21, from Emmett, Idaho.

Subsequent investigation during the traffic stop led the trooper to discover approximately 3 1/2 pounds of marijuana in the car's trunk. Estimated value of the seized marijuana is $9,000.

WILLIAMS was arrested without incident and lodged in the Harney County Jail for Unlawful Possession, Distribution, and Manufacture of a Controlled Substance - Marijuana.
