The ongoing investigation into a May 2008 fatal vehicle / pedestrian hit & run crash on Highway 211 south of Colton has generated a lead through a forensic analysis of evidence found at the scene. Information related to a suspect vehicle in the crash that took the life of a 23-year old Molalla man is being released to help develop more leads in this case.
A forensic examination at the Oregon State Police (OSP) Portland Forensic Laboratory of damaged headlight fragments and assembly parts identified the suspect vehicle as an unknown color 1992 to 1996 Ford F-series Pickup or Bronco.
